TERMS OF SERVICE and Privacy Statement FOR www.textaid.nu

TextAid is a service enabling its users to convert text to synthetic speech for private use owned and operated by VoiceCorp Webservices B.V , registered in The Netherlands No. 30232430 and whose registered office is situated: Dolderseweg 2A, 3712 BP, Huis ter Heide, The Netherlands ("VoiceCorp").

This agreement is an agreement between you (either an individual person or a single legal entity, who will be referred to in this agreement as "you") and VoiceCorp for the Service, including any associated media, printed materials and electronic documentation (the "Service").

The Service also includes any software updates, add-on components, services and/or supplements that VoiceCorp may provide to you or make available to you, or that you obtain from the use of features or functionality of the Service, after the date you obtain your initial right to use the Service to the extent that such items are not accompanied by a separate license agreement or terms of use. By accessing or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement.

1.GRANT OF USE & LICENSE.
The Service is protected by intellectual property laws and treaties. The Service is licensed, not sold. You may use the Service for personal use as identified when entering into this agreement. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by VoiceCorp.

2. FEES & CHANGES.
If you initially sign up for a TextAid account, you will get a limited time free as a trial period. If you choose to pay for a subscription The Service is billed in advance on a half year (or yearly depending on the package you choose) and is non-refundable. There will be no refunds or credits for partial months of service, upgrade/downgrade refunds, or refunds for months unused with an open account. All fees (except for VAT which is included) are exclusive of all taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities, and you shall be responsible for payment of all such taxes, levies, or duties. VoiceCorp may introduce changes to the Service as long as such changes do not materially changes the functionalities of the Service.

3. DESCRIPTION OF OTHER RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS.
Internet Access, Traffic Charges and Bandwidth Consumption. You will not be able to exercise your full rights to the Service unless you have Internet access. All traffic charges or access charges occurred due to the use of the Service are subject to your normal terms with the their service providers.

Copy Protection. The Service may include copy protection technology to prevent unauthorized copying.
Limitations on the Use of the Service. The intended use of the Service is to make it possible for You to listen to text for private use only.
When using the Service you agree not to;

(i) use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose,
(ii) violate any laws or regulations (including but not limited to copyright laws),
(iii) use the Service to generate audio files for any other purpose than for individual personal use,
(iv) allow generated audio files to be made available to any third party or in any way be distributed to the public,
(v) modify, adapt or hack the Service or the Software or modify another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with the Service, VoiceCorp, or any other VoiceCorp service,
(vi) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except and only to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by mandatory law.
(vii) reproduce, reengineer, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service without the express written permission by VoiceCorp, or
(viii) transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature within or in relation to the use of the Service,
(ix) transmit through the Service any unlawful, harassing, libelous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable material of any kind or nature, or
(x) transmit or post any material that encourages conduct that could constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable law or regulation.
Your Responsibility. You agree to be solely responsible for the use of the Service.

4. SUPPORT.
Technical support via email is only provided to paying account holders.

5. TERM & TERMINATION.
You are solely responsible for properly canceling your account. An email or phone request to cancel your account is not considered as a cancellation. If you cancel the Service before the end of your current paid up months or years, your cancellation will take effect at the expiry of such period. The termination of the Service will result in the deactivation or deletion of your account or your access to your account. VoiceCorp may terminate this agreement at any time by giving not less than 3 months' notice of termination. Fees paid and pertaining to the period after such termination will be refunded. Without prejudice to any other rights, VoiceCorp may terminate this agreement immediately if you fail to comply with this agreement. In such event, you must discontinue the use of the Service. VoiceCorp reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS.
All title and intellectual property rights related to the Service are owned by VoiceCorp or its suppliers. This Agreement does not grant you any rights in connection with any trademarks or service marks of VoiceCorp. All title and intellectual property rights in and to content handled by the use of Service is the property of the respective content owners and may be protected by applicable copyright or other intellectual property laws and treaties. This agreement grants you no rights to use such content and you agree to hold VoiceCorp harmless from any losses, costs or damages incurred or suffered as a result of any use, distribution etc. of such content.

7. LIMITED WARRANTY.
VoiceCorp does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. VoiceCorp warrants that the Service will perform substantially in accordance with the descriptions available at www.textaid.nu. Any supplements or updates to the Service, including without limitation, any (if any) service packs or hot fixes provided to you are not covered by any warranty or condition, express, implied or statutory. Your exclusive remedy for any breach of this agreement is as set forth below. You are not entitled to any damages, including but not limited to consequential or indirect damages, if the Service does not meet VoiceCorp's Limited Warranty. VoiceCorp's entire liability and your exclusive remedy shall be, at VoiceCorp's option from time to time, (a) an extension of the term, or (b) repayment of part of the paid fee pertaining from the period during which the Service malfunctioned or was not available. This Limited Warranty is void if failure of the Service has resulted from accident, abuse, misapplication, abnormal use or a virus. to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VoiceCorp provide the SERVICE AS IS AND WITH ALL FAULTS, and hereby disclaim all other warranties and conditions.

8. INDEMNIFICATION.
You agree to indemnify and hold VoiceCorp, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Service, the violation of this agreement, or the infringement by you of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity.

9. NOTICES.
Notices to you may be provided at any time by posting at the TextAid Site (www.textaid.nu) or through the Service itself.

10. ENTIRE AGREEMENT.
This agreement together with the Privacy statement hereunder and any relevant terms regarding the version of the Service subscribed to and as displayed at (www.textiad.nu) is the entire agreement between you and VoiceCorp relating to the Service.

12. APPLICABLE LAW.
This agreement is governed by the laws of Sweden. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection with this agreement, or the breach, termination or invalidity thereof shall be submitted to the District Court of Stockholm.

Information Collection
VoiceCorp is the sole owner of the information collected on www.textaid.nu. VoiceCorp collects information from our users at several different points on our Web site.

Registration form
To be able to use the service requires that a user registers. During registration a user is required to give contact information (such as email address and password). We use this information to contact the user about services on our site for which he has expressed an interest. We also ask for the url of his/her web site or blog, the preferred language as well as the country the user lives in so as to optimise the experience of the service. We may occasionally ask the user to provide other details such as demographic information.

Information Use

Profile
We store and gather information from cookies, log files, and/or third parties to create a profile of our users. A profile is stored information that we keep on individual users that detail their preferences and actions. Collected information is tied to a user's identity to provide offers and improved content. This profile is used to tailor a user's visit to our Web site and to direct pertinent marketing promotions to those users who have subscribed to our service (s). We do not share your profile with other third parties.

Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on a user's computer which allows us to track the user during his/her visit to our site. We use session cookies (rather than permanent cookies). Once a user closes his/her browser, the cookie simply terminates. If a user rejects the cookie, he/she may still use our site, although they will not be able to access areas of the site which require login.

Log Files
Like most Web sites we record information about your session and write it to databases and log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses (which can be traced to your internet service provider (ISP), browser type, referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, which pages you requested, etc. We use this information to analyze trends, administer the site, track users' movements in particular and in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. This information allows us to link your ip address to any personally identifiable information that you have given us.

Financial information
VoiceCorp does not in any way store or collect any credit card- or other financial information from our users. All transactions are being handled by PayPal.

Communications from www.textaid.nu

Offers and Updates
We send all new users, if opted in for, a welcoming email to verify password and username. Established users can choose to receive information on products, services, special deals if they opt in to receive this information via our newsletter.

Service Announcements
On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send users an email. Generally, users may not opt-out of these communications, though they can deactivate their account. However, these communications are not promotional in nature.

Customer Service
We communicate with users on a regular basis to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account. We reply via email and/or make FAQ, troubleshooting information and forums available to users depending on the type of subscription they choose.

Legal Disclaimer

Sharing
Although we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our Web site.

Business Transitions
In the event VoiceCorp goes through a business transition, such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets, users' personal information will, in most instances, is part of the assets transferred.

This Web site takes every precaution to protect our users' information.
We do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. Users' information is stored on our servers under password controls. Access to that information is granted to employees on a need-to-know basis. Finally, the servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure environment. If users have any questions about the security at our Web site, users can contact us.

Correcting/Updating/Deleting/Deactivating

Personal Information
If a user's personally identifiable information (such as email) changes or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate users' personally identifiable information on the Service.

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement located on the homepage of www.textaid.nu, and other places we deem appropriate so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
